Future Optics‘ z-block is a passive optical subassembly (POSA) based on our free-space-optics wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) platform to deliver optical mux / demux functionality directly inside standard or customized small-form-factor transceivers. Our unique filter based ROSA block and TOSA block are designed to seamlessly integrate with your specific input and output interface.The very high parallelism pitch tolerance of the CWDM6 Z-blocks enable a rapid alignment process during coupling and assembly.

Future Optics' 6CH CWDM 750 Mux Demux Block is a 0.75 pitch CWDM Z-Block to act as a Mux Demux optical sub-assembly for transceivers, working at band from 1271 to 1371 nm and matching with 0.75 mm pitch PD or LD, which is integrated inside the transmitting end or receiving end of transceivers to separate or to combine 20nm spacing 6 channels. 

The Future Optics CWDM6 Z-block subassemblies achieve very low insertion loss, enabling efficient wavelength multiplexing and demultiplexing in high-speed optical transceivers such as 100G, 400G, 800G in data centers and optical communication networks.

The very high parallelism pitch tolerance of the CWDM6 Z-blocks enable a rapid alignment process during coupling and assembly. Future Optics CWDM Z-block subassemblies are available for various channel center wavelength CWDM6 transceivers and with custom beam pitch designs.
