Future Optics‘ Hybrid 5 over 1 WDM Mux Demux has a compact footprint of 6.5*14.4*25.8 mm and 1.6 dB low insert loss. Inside this device 5 channels in C-band of DWDM are hybridized into one channel CWDM network. In consideration of CWDM wavelengths range from 1260nm to1625nm covering all the range of DWDM wavelengths (1470-1625nm), and further DWDM wavelengths are of much smaller channel spaces (0.4nm/0.8nm) in compare with CWDM channel space, therefore, the CWDM wavelengths near DWDM wavelengths can be used to transmit the DWDM wavelengths.
